Behold an unparalleled view of Zenigata Sunae, a giant piece of sand art modeled after an ancient coin, said to have been created in a single night during the Edo period. Also renowned as a spot to gain good financial luck, here you’ll find audio guides and multilingual signage installed on the observatory deck. You can even enjoy wonderful views of the sand art at night, since it is lit up from sunset to 10 PM. Conservation of this sand art is made possible through the cooperation of local residents.
