29 Secluded Blue: Nikobuchi
The water in this basin, so clear that you can see through to the rocks beneath, turns blue or green depending on how the light hits it for a spectacle of color. Nikobuchi is famous as a sacred place where you can see a beautiful azure known as “Niyodo Blue”. The path leading to the basin is built so as not to obstruct the surrounding scenery, giving you the feeling of being an adventurer making your way through the wilderness.
