25 Todoro-no-Taki Falls, Where Lies The Heike Legend of Princess Tamaori

Enjoy spectacular scenery year-round at Todoro-no-Taki falls, a three-tiered waterfall selected as one of the Top 100 Waterfalls in Japan with its 82-meter drop. Its three glittering blue basins are involved in the legend of the Heike Princess Tamaori. There is an observation deck overlooking the entire waterfall designed with low fences so as not to obstruct the view. This spot is also famous for its autumn leaves, when many visitors stroll along the promenade, then head to the limited-time tea house for specialty products and meals.
