The coast of the Seto Inland Sea in Higashikagawa is scattered with geological formations that record changes in Earth’s geology, such as the Mesozoic Hiketa Unconformity, beautiful black, and white striped lamprophyres, and the rare basalt columns of Kinushima, creating fantastic sights well worth seeing. There are tons of other highlights as well, including views from unusual angles aboard a pleasure boat that are bound to leave lasting memories.
