79 Special Place of Scenic Ritsurin Garden

A large feudal garden representative of Japan, this garden features six ponds and thirteen artificial hills arranged exquisitely across a vast 75-hectare site with Mt. Shiun as its backdrop. With nearly 400 years of history, as you make your way down the garden paths, you can enjoy the true pleasure of this strolling garden, with its ever-changing scenery known as “a view at every step.” Best of all is Kikugetsu-Tei, where you can enjoy views of Lake Nanko along with sweets and matcha tea.
