58 Cyclist Sanctuary and Tatara Bridge

Behold sweeping views of the Seto Inland Sea and Tatara Bridge, one of the world’s few cable-stayed bridges that looks like two swans spreading their wings, situated at the border between Hiroshima and Ehime Prefectures. This spot is furnished so you can enjoy the view, with benches at the perfect distance from the bridge, designed to sit slightly higher so that the fences near the sea do not block the view. There is also a “Cyclist Sanctuary” monument within the park that has gained popularity among cyclists both inside and outside the prefecture as a kind of pilgrimage site.
