52 Sadamisaki Lighthouse, Guardian of Hoyo Strait on the Westernmost Tip of Shikoku

From the Mt. Tsubaki Observation Deck, take in views of Sadamisaki Lighthouse, first lit 100 years ago, standing at the westernmost tip of Shikoku, as well as boats drifting on Hoyo Strait along with Kyushu in the distance. One could look at this tranquil scenery all day. As its name implies, Mt. Tsubaki is covered in Japanese camellia (yabu tsubaki) flowers from winter to early spring. The observation deck has been renovated to create the perfect sightseeing spot, with a wooden deck where you can get so lost in the view you forget about time.
