47 Yukiwa-no-Taki Falls, a Splendid Formation Created by Nature

Yukiwa-no-Taki Falls in Nametoko Gorge was chosen as one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan. Ripples that look like rings of snow on the rocks as they fall creates a magnificent sight. The 12km long Nametoko Gorge, stretching from the city of Uwajima to the town of Matsuno, is distinctive for its smooth rock face created through eons of erosion. It is also a renowned canyoning spot, and a trip down this natural water slide is bound to leave lasting memories.
