9 The Symphony of the Magnificent Yoshino River and the Rock Garden of Honraku-ji Temple
This stunning rock garden incorporates the natural scenery of the surrounding Asan Mountains and the Yoshino River, with crane rocks and turtle rocks swimming and boat rocks sailing toward Horaijima Island. The cranes and turtles represent longevity, making this a traditional Japanese Shinbutsu Horai garden for immortality, with high-quality installations arranged to keep the viewer engaged. The garden was created by Tadakazu Saito.
